The Best Beaches in the World
Beach vacations are the best kind of vacations. Sure, I love a city break just as much as anyone else, but I love them even more when the city’s by the seaside. I also love active vacations, just as long as I can chill on the beach with a mojito once the hard work’s over.

To begin with, I wanted to write about my favorite beach, but then when I started to think about it, I realized there are too many to choose from. The problem with being a beach lover is that I’ve gone on so many beach vacations that I could never pick just one. Are you trying to decide between Aruba vs Curacao, or if Freeport Bahamas is for you? Let’s start with these amazing beaches.
The Best Beaches in the World
1. Eagle Beach
Aruba’s Eagle Beach is one of the top ranked beaches in the Caribbean for a reason. It consistently tops the best of lists. I love vacations to Eagle Beach because of the soft sands and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. If you’re patient enough to walk along the beach away from the main spots, you can also make sure that you avoid the crowds.
2. Navagio Beach
This Greek beach is one of my favorite vacation spots in Europe, and I almost missed out on it completely! It’s one of those places that I only discovered after I picked up a tip from someone else during my travels. Also known as Shipwreck Beach and Smuggler’s Cove, Navagio Beach has a ton of history to it while also just being one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Just be warned that it’s only accessible by boat.
3. Playa del Amore
How’s your Spanish? As you can probably tell from the name here, this charming little slice of Mexico is called Lover’s Beach in English, and there’s a reason for that. Located in the perfect vacation if you’re travelling with your significant other, and I’d recommend watching the sun go down together with a margarita in hand or going on a tour in Puerto Vallarta . If you’re lucky, you’ll even hear a little mariachi music to keep you entertained. I can see why this is such a popular honeymoon spot!
4. Ocean Beach
San Diego’s Ocean Beach is probably my favorite beach in the States, mostly because I love how you can be chilling on the beach at one moment and browsing through the historic business district the next. San Diego also has an excellent nightlife scene, so if you’re looking for a US beach where you can sunbathe all day and party all night, you’ll want to visit Ocean Beach on your next vacation.
5. Grace Bay Beach, Turks and Caicos
With its powdery white sand stretching for miles and gently sloping shoreline, Grace Bay Beach offers a perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling. The pristine waters teem with vibrant coral reefs and a variety of marine life, making it a paradise for underwater enthusiasts.
6. Whitehaven Beach, Australia
Accessible only by boat or helicopter, the remote Whitehaven Beach mesmerizes visitors with its untouched beauty. The swirling patterns created by the shifting tides and the soft, silica sand that stays cool underfoot even on the hottest days add to its allure.
7. Anse Lazio, Seychelles
Surrounded by lush vegetation and granite boulders, Anse Lazio boasts a tranquil and idyllic atmosphere. Its gentle waves invite you to take a refreshing dip, while the nearby coral reefs beckon snorkelers and divers to explore the rich marine biodiversity beneath the surface. One look out to the stunnign torquoise waters and you’ll know exactly why it’s considered one of the best beaches in the world.
8. Baia do Sancho, Brazil
Descending down a steep staircase through a jungle-clad cliff, visitors are rewarded with the jaw-dropping beauty of Baia do Sancho. The turquoise waters, framed by towering cliffs, create a secluded oasis, while the vibrant coral reefs just offshore make it an ideal spot for snorkeling adventures.
9. Navagio Beach, Greece
Enclosed by sheer limestone cliffs, Navagio Beach offers a truly awe-inspiring setting and one of the best beaches in the world.. The contrasting colors of the white sand, clear blue waters, and rusted shipwreck create a captivating scene that has made it one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Accessible only by boat, the beach provides a sense of seclusion and wonder.
Now that you know just a few of my favorite beach spots for a vacation full of sun, sea, and sand, you’re ready to arrange your next beach trip. Just don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and to make sure that you pick out a beach that works for you, whether you’re into surfing and swimming, or whether you prefer to sunbathe. Have a fantastic vacation!
