Beverly Hills Sign

The 40 foot long Beverly Hills Sign is the perfect place to start your day and snap a glamorous selfie. In 1907, long before fancy shops and grand homes lined the streets of the city, the Beverly Hills Sign and Lily Pond were built as part of a real estate promotion…and over 100 years later this is one of the most photographed spots in the Beverly Hills which obviously means that it’s one of the most instagrammable places in Beverly Hills.

Local tip: Many Los Angeles city tour buses stop here (especially in the Summer months). If you want this spot to yourself, you should plan on a bright and early visit…definitely before 8 AM).

Beverly Gardens Park

The Beverly Hills Sign is centrally located in the Beverly Gardens Park, which stretches 1.9 miles along Santa Monica Blvd. This park is a breath of fresh air in the middle of this busily and bustling city. Here you can enjoy multiple gardens, including a full cactus garden and a beautiful rose garden that blooms every Spring. A decomposed granite path is popular for jogging or a leisurely walk.

The park also features local art installations that are fun to photograph. Every May and October this park is home to the popular Beverly Hills artSHOW, exhibiting artists from all over the country. It’s a great place to peruse beautiful paintings, sculpture, and photography, and while you might not think it’s a super popular Beverly Hills photo spot, you’ll be surprised to see how pretty of a backdrop it can be.

This spot has been featured in the Go-Go’s music video Our Lips Are Sealed, as well as the 1990s California classic movie Clueless. Map Location
