Hotel Friends Dusseldorf: Review

It’s very very rare that we fall in love with a hotel so hard and so fast. But it happened with Hotel Friends in Dusseldorf. The newly converted hotel (it was grocery store before) is one of those places that just makes you happy, and makes you want to tell all your friends.

Located a quick 7-minute walk away from the main train station in Dusseldorf, the hotel entrance is nestled between 2 of the best Turkish restaurants in the city. Upon entering you’re taking to a different world that blends the luxuries of a 4-star hotel along with the comfort of your best friend’s house.

This boutique hotel in Dusseldorf has 40 rooms and every single room has a different theme- including a James Bond, Safari, Disco, Rock and Roll and Coco Chanel- all designed by Hotel Friends’ management. The best part your stay is not knowing what you’re going to get until you open your door. No two rooms are like, so get ready to peak into your friend’s rooms just to see what’s behind the door.

The reception area is located beside what can best be described as a hipster bar with the main lobby set up a blues lounge with velvet couches spread out for a very comfortable and inviting vibe.
