Hilton Paris Opera: Review

There’s something magical about hotels that are old converted buildings. You get to see the history and the charm before modern architecture made everything look almost the same. The intricate details of the columns, the hand-crafted walls, and ceilings all combine to create an experience that can transcend you to a different time- such is the case with Hilton Paris Opera.

One of the best features of the hotel is easily the Le Grand Salon- which represents the grandeur and history of Paris.  Sitting in the heart of the hotel, guests can enjoy delicious drinks and food with a stunning background.

Built in 1889, the Hilton Paris Opera was originally built to welcome travellers from the nearby Saint-Lazare station who were visiting the World Expo. It was purchased by the Hilton Group in 2013, and renamed Hilton Paris Opera in 2015.

For those craving french cuisine- be sure to check out Le Pain Quotidien opened in 2016 is located right next door to the Hilton Paris Opera and has access via the hotel. The Belgium brand offers large choice of breakfast, brunch, tartines and main course, with vegetarian options as well as a global healthy menu. Be sure to get there early as their pastries tend to get sold out quickly.
